Volunteer Terms & Conditions
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Oklahoma Latin Pride (OKLP). By registering and participating as a volunteer, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Voluntary Participation
All volunteer participation is voluntary. Volunteers understand and agree that they will not receive financial compensation, wages, or employee benefits for their time or services.
2. Code of Conduct
Volunteers are expected to:
Treat all attendees, staff, performers, and fellow volunteers with respect
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment
Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior of any kind
OKLP reserves the right to remove any volunteer who does not uphold these standards.
3. Responsibilities & Commitment
By volunteering, you agree to:
Perform assigned duties responsibly and professionally
Arrive on time for scheduled shifts
Communicate promptly with organizers if you are unable to attend
Follow guidance from event coordinators and staff at all times
4. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Volunteers acknowledge that participation in events may involve certain risks. By volunteering, you agree to assume all risks and release Oklahoma Latin Pride, its organizers, partners, and affiliates from liability for:
Personal injury or illness
Loss, theft, or damage to personal property
Any incidents arising during participation
5. Media Release
By participating, you grant Oklahoma Latin Pride permission to capture and use photographs, video, and audio recordings that may include your image or likeness for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes, without compensation.
6. Health & Safety
Volunteers agree to:
Follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided
Act in a manner that protects their own safety and the safety of others
Notify organizers of any limitations that may affect participation
7. Substance-Free Requirement
Volunteers must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs while performing their duties.
8. Removal or Termination
Oklahoma Latin Pride reserves the right to remove or reassign any volunteer at any time if deemed necessary for safety, conduct, or operational reasons.
9. Agreement Acknowledgment
By registering as a volunteer and participating in any Oklahoma Latin Pride activities or events, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
